home sweet home

This is the cabin Sam and I are living in for the moment. Cabin "Truth". It is a great little place to live for our first home. Down the hill from the rest of camp, it is private and faces the mountains, providing a gorgeous view!

facing in the front door. It's all one room, but spacious and nice!
a better view of the kitchen/dining corner :)

this is the "closet" Sam made for me out of a camp bunk-bed

We will be moving into the main house on camp in April, as the executive director who lives there now will be moving to a new house on the other side of camp property. He is retiring, and since he helped found the camp 35 years ago, there was no retirement in place. This new house is being built for him and his wife to move in to as a retirement package. Their old house will be renovated in May into a duplex and Sam and I will live in the upstairs.

For now, Cabin truth is cozy and perfect!

    1. There are a few other cabins and a bunk house, those are what campers stay in. And there is a lodge where staff stay during the summer. The lodge is also where people stay when we have retreats here.
