OK, so the horse's name is Harry...not Harry Potter. But I think I will catch myself calling him that on occasion. (grin) We had a donor give a large donation to the horse program with the request that the new horse be named "Harry". Check out his mane! I think the name fits alright.
I found this gorgeous boy in the newspaper a couple weeks ago and was anxious to meet him. He is a 13 year old paint gelding. I LOVE his personality!! He is very, very intelligent, but would be totally fine with not working at all. Not necessarily lazy...he does what you ask him to without hesitation. He's just alright with chillin'.
If horse training techniques mean anything to you, you will find it cool that this horse is a Level 3 in the Parelli horsemanship.
I am SO excited about this horse!! He will make a great lesson horse and camper horse. And his beautiful looks will make him an instant favorite, I am sure.
He is so cool, can we come ride?
